I really enjoyed this film. Very fun, full of action and special effects...not a particularly cerebral flick...good for a rainy Saturday. For those with premium sound/blu ray, it is one of the few films actually filmed in 7.1 Surround. If you enjoyed the Spider Man films or X-Men films, you will like this one. A great comic book hero/Norse Mythology brought to the big screen again!

I never read Thor. I did like the movie though. Just saw it last week and i agree - not too complicated but it did make some fun references to other comic books and had plenty of good visuals.
