Another masterfully done BBC production! The latest (in several) adaptation of Charlotte Bronte's classic novel, this one far exceeds the visual storyboard of the Masterpiece Theatre version of 2006, though much shorter.
I won't ruin the story if you haven't read the book, which I assume most folks have. There is a wonderfully dark twist to this story. Classic English literature brought to life! If you have surround sound, you will love the creepy sounds that place you right in the middle of Thornfield Hall! Not a fan of most gothic novels and with the exception of Austen's Northanger Abbey, most leave me longing for an action or comedy flick.
