This is a very funny movie for guys my age (41), who grew up with Star Wars, E.T., Close Encounters & Alien...
Two Brits on a road trip through the American Southwest to visit Area 51, Roswell and other "UFO sites" meet up with an alien...named Paul...who is trying to get back home...
And yes, they rip off every Sci-Fi flick of the last 35 years, but with a sense of humor, style and nostalgia.

Good for a laugh if you know your Sci-Fi references. Your wife will hate it.
