Why would you want it?
Believe me, there's not much in it, worth wanting to see or play.
I do have a copy, I bought it when it first came out..........a waste of money of there ever was one.

I think this is the best endorsement for a product I've seen in ages! I love it!

Re: WTB: The Royal Scots music book...
.....well, when it came out it was like they had only produced it because the Scots Guards, the Gordons, Rangers, Seaforths, and Queens Own Highlanders all had books....and they felt left out.
The cover may be the same size as the others, but its only half the thickness of the others. Nothing like as many tunes in it. There are a couple of good tunes in it, but the rest?....why bother.

I just want it to add to the collection. If you're willing to part with it then make me an offer. I'm also looking for the Royal Irish Rangers book as well. Fairly thin with a black and white pic on the cover of pipers in the mess if I remeber right.

You might want to try Dave Gallacher (Funeral Piper?).

The Royal Scots Music Book...
Good morning everyone. I purchased this music book over 15 years ago for $35 and I don't know what happened to it. Anyway. there are 2 tunes I really like. One is a 2/4 march, The Canadian Scottish. The other is a 12/8 slow air, The Green Glens of Antrim, which is also in the Cabar Feidh Collection. But what about The Canadian Scottish? Any help will be appreciated.

Sorry I'm late to the party, don't look around here too often. In Royal Scots, check out Newmarket House. Quite a nice hornpipe that isn't found in many places. That composer also has some other good looking tunes though I just found that one the other day and haven't looked through the rest of the book much.
